Shoring Jack is used during pouring cement mix on slabs as support (pangtukod) to the formworks. Usually it is made of high quality B.I. material and can extend up to 5m or more. In our company, we have the following sizes and specifications:
1.70 x 1.50m ( up to 3.10m full extension)
2.00 x 2.00m (up to 3.8m full extension)
2.00 x 3.00m (up to 4.80m full extension)
3.00 x 3.00m (up to 5.60m full extension)
In the Philippines, house building usually uses the 3.10m and 3.80m because average ceiling height is only 3m. Here are some images of shoring jacks.
We recommend that for every square meter of area (slab) to support, use 1 piece of shoring jack. So, for example, for 100sqm. of area for slab, use 100pcs. of shoring jack.
