Why use scaffolding in your construction works? What are the advantages of using pipe and frame scaffolds over using coco lumber?
In the Philippines, scaffold pipes have been introduced already for decades now but they are not as popular as using coco lumbers? Even in some urban areas in Manila, I can still see some buildings constructed as coco lumbers for formworks. Maybe, there are presumptions that pipe scaffolds are to be use only for high rise buildings. Or perhaps they think that they can save several pesos by using coco lumber?
But heck no! You're just multiplying your expenses. Why? Here are the advantages of using scaffold frames:
1. Easy to install/dismantle, no need to spend more time hammering all those nails, therefore you will be reducing the labor cost.
2. It is environment friendly! No need to cut more coconut trees for lumber.
3. Still reusable for other projects if you buy or you can just rent.
4. Safe to use as long as you meet the specs of your project and your supplier do not use China pipes.
There are different types of scaffolding that you may choose for your construction needs; it depends on the area and the type of construction work that will be done. Standard types of scaffolding are the following:
1. A-Type Frame
This is also called the "walk through" scaffolding. Workers can easily walk through the center without
hindrance/obstacles.
Standard size for A-frame is 1.70m (height) x 1.20m (width) x 1.80m (length), usually made of Black Iron metal pipes painted or galvanized pipes.

2. H-Frame
This is one of the most commonly used frame scaffolds, basically because this is cheaper than A-Type Frame because its design is simple to fabricate, no need to bend the pipes.
Standard size for H-frames are 1.70m (height) x 1.20m (width) x 1.80m (length) also available in Black Iron and galvanized pipes.

3. End Frame
End Frame is a shorter version of H-frame. This is usually used to connect in order to achieve the height requirements of the project. Example: Ceiling height in the Philippines is usually 3m tall(standard height). And if we are going to do a slab and use h-frames scaffolds, you will need to use an end frame. It is because, standard height of h-frame is 1.7m, we will add a 1.2m e-frame to achieve the requirement. Then, we will just add adjustable base jack or u-head to finally reach the exact height of the ceiling.
Available e-frame sizes:
1. 1.2m x 1.2m
2. 0.90m x 1.2m
Width of the scaffolds will depend on the sizes of the cross brace.
Note: I will be publishing next the types of formworks and accessories used in the Philippines.

Up until now, all I have read on this article is extremely boring, and seems to be written by writers that lack education. You’ve done a very good job conveying your passion with accurate information. https://westasianetwork.com/ashford-formula-riyadh.php
